Boyes is the root of all evil - Cptmjl
I think if Snow could find a Clark Gillies type wing to play with JT and Moulson, we wouldn't be having this conversation...IMO... |

Gillies, Keith Tkachuk, Todd Burtuzzi, Kevin Stevens, Rick Tocchet, Igninla type would look so F'in sweet.
I dont want to label him, but isnt that what we are hoping Nino becomes?

The biggest problem with that top line is neither winger is fast enough to get to the corners when JT chips it. They can't forecheck effectively and they're not fast enough to backcheck effectively. If you're going to be that slow on the outside you'd better be physical and they fail there too. The problem goes further in that both sets of skills they lack happen to be necessary skills for the third and fourth line, which makes dropping them down a problem. At least throw Grabs in Boyes place. |

Poulin is a good goalie!!! - jimmc7722
I'm a beLIever. The way he finished up in juniors, then began in the AHL, and especially his first 10 games in the NHL before that weird knee cap injury...you could see the talent there. He's had a rough run since then, no doubt, but I just think it's a confidence issue, not an ability issue. He plays further back in his crease now...not good since he's not the biggest goalie to begin with. I'd love to see him get his mojo back...then clean up his rebound control. |

He's dead on avg on height at 6'2" and just below avg at 192, Granted he's no Mikko Koskinen at 6'6" 192,or Anders Nilsson at 6'6" 217 but Kevin fills alot of net.
I can not wait for Anders to be ready, he is going to own this team

Cappy is still a moron for playing Reasoner in game 1. We gave Pens a game.
And Game 3 was BS that ref would make a soft Holding call like that in OT. You just dont do that. Cindy Crosby never falls off his skates. He know exactly what he was doing, b/c the Pens PP is on fire.
If Isles can stay out of the box i think we can win this series.
KO is the MVP so far. |
