Canucks played like crap. No intensity or passion. Luongo is the only player that showed up to play. I for one am tired of this team not giving a crap. Better show up to play the rest of the series or this team is headed to the golf course. Again.

Some called this an even series. To me, I think it was a no-brainer choice. I originally called it Sharks in 6. Now it may very well be 4-5.

Did you miss the 2nd period? They dominated that. Looked like crap in the 1st and 3rd, but they definitely controlled the middle frame. To say they had no intensity at all is flat out wrong. It's their execution that was missing.

From what I heard, it was basically the same old story. Inconsistency period to period, couldn't bounce back after giving up a bad goal and lack of scoring in the playoffs once again. I saw a stat today that said the Canucks have something like 17 or 18 goals in their last 13 or 14 playoff games.



Only positive about getting bounced in the first again(if they do), is that AV will be gone and hopefully MG will become the GM of this team again instead of catering to AV and Bowness. MG was a solid GM before AV gradually got a bigger and bigger say in personnel moves.

So does Luongo's performance effect who starts next game even if Schineder is healthy? I though he was great and didnt really have a chance on any of the 3 goals. He made a couple if great saves to keep it a close game.

Niemi, as I have been saying all year, is a procuct of our good defensman and defensive system. I cant recall one great save he had to make last night. But hopefully he wont have to. He is playing well enough for us to win and thats all that matters. When it come down to that big save I hope our defensmen are there to sweep away the rebound he pops out.

It's tough to steal a game when you pot...1 whole goal. Maybe they should bench the rest of the team and keep Luongo in net.
