Yo yo yo, RC... I have a good idea for your next blog. You compare each of the Oiler's underachieving vets to a specific STD/STI? Tell us why each player reminds you of each STD/STI.

You may not have much to write about but your blog was still entertaining. A lot of people criticize you but you're the most entertaining blogger on this site by far.

You have some stinkers here and there but no ones perfect.

- Oildrum

In your case Clouts entertaining is not a compliment.

You don't have to write about the Oilers. You can explore other teams and ventures without delving into Garth territory. You also have the World Championships coming soon.
- nayefj

Don't fool yourself, his blogs have always been just as bad and one-sided as Garfs.

The Oilers are either going to definitely make the playoffs next or they're absolutely not.

Here are a few to get Richard started:

Olivier Roy - Herpes - Cant seem to get rid of the problem between his legs

Tyrvainen - Scabies - Clearly he is a parasite

Hamilton - HPV - Doesn't really do anything

Teubert - Crabs - jumps up and down from the NHL to AHL

Rajala- Chlamydia - Annoying burning little (frank)er

Davidson - maybe we'll leave him out of this one all things considered

Pitlick - Syphilis - It might be a mole, but he has a visible sore on his face

Klefbom - Gonorrhea - Get's talked about alot

Hartikainen - Anal Warts - Parks in front of the net and tries to score on the back door

Plante - Hepatitis - Biggest problem is fatigue and moving slowly

Martindale - AIDS - just a big (frank)ing problem

So according to this, the oilers should just rid themselves of all diseases except for gonorrhea??

So I read that New Jersey has to forfeit their 1st round pick either next year or this year. How would that unfold in the draft? Would there only be 29 players drafted in the first round??

Yes. Don't know why they didn't just forfeit last years pick. 29th overall is as low as it will be. With them picking 9th this year they won't be giving it up. Hopefully next year they suck and are forced to give up a high pick.

I don't think they were able to give up their pick last year though. I think it was just this year or next year. But I wouldn't give up this years pick if I were them.

They were allowed to give it up last year...

"The league allowed the Devils to decide which year they would give up the pick - from 2011-2014 with notification due the day after the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Final."

I heard they wouldn't give up their first pick this year because this coming draft is in Jersey and they want to have something there for their fans.

Reasonable, I hope for their sake they don't get worse next year

Yeah, I don't get it... I assumed that they could give it up on draft day, but when I read that they had to give it up by conclusion of the Stanley Cup Final, I don't get why they didn't forfeit it. They must have been really high on a lot of draftees that year or something.
