No way top 4 teams are trading those picks anyway. He is right, they will have the opportunity to get 2 very good players, just a matter of them being right. Vanek and Miller are the big questions at the draft.

If they get the opportunity he should trade Miller for a 1st round pick, even if it's a lower one, and get Fucale. It's a move that makes a decent amount of sense to me.

I can see darcy pulling a trade like last year. Trading Minnies pick plus our second rounder to say Dallas. Have two top ten picks. Take Lindholm and Zadorov perhaps.

Meh I've always thought Fucale to be overrated and that his numbers are inflated as a result of playing on a stacked team. I'd rather they take Nikita Serebryakov in next years draft than Fucale.
I am thinking Vanek plus for Nashville's 1st round pick and a roster player coming back - The_Inkwell
Anything is possible but I doubt Darcy would be interested in that move. The forwards from 4-8 are very comparable it doesn't seem like it's worth it. Unless you're trying to get one of the top three it might be best to stay put and deal Vanek/Miller for young NHLers and prospects who have already spent some time in pro hockey.

whatever, we will either keep stafford and he will have to do better until he's gone (who cares we have the money) or we'll trade him for something more useful. okposo was an iffy trade anyways because before this series he was labled as an "uninspired player" so i'm okay with skipping on him at the deadline. sometimes that happens.

Just wait until Girgs, Grigs, Armia, McNabb, Larson, McCabe as well as the two 1st round picks next month are on the Sabres roster. You will get over your jealousy.

While I probably would have made that deal let's not get carried away and think Okposo was an all world player the last 3 years. Some Isles fans I know can get very frustrated with him.
