I would seriously (frank) that sandwich.
I think they discontinued them in our area. A bunch of people died while they were released here. |

Staal is two years away from unrestricted free agency not to mention his injury history. |

they could extend him and I'd say if his eye doesn't hinder his play, it's well worth the risk. EDM hasn't had a legit 1D since pronger

mmmmmmmm. dont think sø.
I wouldn't trade Hall, RNH, or Yak. Don't know if they could even take Eberle or Hall because of cap being tight. Maybe Richards buyout changes things.
Eberle, Smid, 37th for Staal, Hagelin'd be a good deal |

I really hope you're trying to be sarcastic. Not that I'm saying it's a bad trade proposal, but trading Eberle based off of a meh year would be a huge mistake. He and Hall love playing together, he lead the poopty bottom feeder team in points (80ish) last year, he has sick hands... I don't need any more examples. He's one of those guys that would make you cry about the trade in a few years. |

They'd make room for Eberle as well (no doubt). Last year, 90% people were of the opinion that Eberle > Hall. Of course, this year that changed, but we must not forget what Eberle did that year. He's a special talent, and a special special boy. Any team would make room for our special lil boy. |

You're not getting Simmonds out of Philly. Hartnell is a heart and soul guy who won't be traded. They're not rebuilding. Briere, Mezaros and Coburn will be in play. Edmonton could use any of those three but not for a 1st.
Gagner, Hemsky, Smid to Boston
Lucic, Caron, Boston's 1st to Edmonton
Oilers package their 1st + Boston's 1st to Nashville to get Barkov. - therealagent
Hartnell and Simmonds totally hands off, but Lucic have at her eh? Dear lord |

If you've looked at the advanced stats Hall's been the best since day 1. Elevates Eberle's game |

I'm not saying the Oilers would get either of them but what i'm saying is those are the type of players teams need & those are the type of players you move the 7th overall for(again Simmonds more than Hartnell) - newmy
I'd love to get Simmonds, but is he able to play LW? He'd look great with Eberle and Nuge. I'm not entirely concerned about upgrading the 2C spot this season. As bad as it sounds, the Hall- Horcoff- Yakupov line looked pretty effective. Rolling 3 scoring lines like this would be beautiful.
Hall- Horcoff- Yakupov
Simmonds- Nuge- Eberle
Paajarvi- Gagner- Jones
I imagine we'd be giving up this years 1st along with one of our higher end prospects, maybe the rights to one of Fistric or Whitney and maybe something else for Simmonds. That sound fair? That along with a strengthened D corps and a repeat performance from Dubnyk and you've got the makings of a successful season. |
