They will, but I thought Edmonton wanted to compete for the playoffs. Keep in mind everyone else's young players are getting better and better as well. New Division next year with San Jose, Anaheim, Vancouver and Los Angeles will probably take the top four spots in the West/Pacific. St Louis, Chicago and Minny will probably take the top three spots in the central or whatever they call it. That means you're competing against some good young teams for the final spot.

Gagners skating isn't good. IMO I think it's holding him back from being a good two way centre man. He's good offensively but his skating and speed needs to improve.
Bogosian may be a decent target. - ystoil
I think it has improved a WHOLE lot though. He wouldn't have scored some of the goals he did shorthanded this year if he didn't beat guys in a footrace.
