Voynov is going to get paid after these playoffs. Restricted he is, but I just don't see him just getting the 10% raise. |

On replay looks like Williams was losing his edge before Bickell's stick made contact...looked like an obvious call, though |

Watch, they'll buy out Bryz and Briere, trade Couturier for Yandle, trade read for Bernier and sign Bickell - Jsaquella
I'm ok with all of that, but I imagine Bickell's price is too high now after these playoffs, I'd prefer to target Stalberg instead. I also think Homer still has a hard on for Clowe as well.
Talk on the local sports radio station up here in Ottawa the other day was how Ottawa should deal for Briere. Cap hit being high, actual salary being way less. Seems there might be a market for him, all depends on his NMC. |

I like buff - a lot. big dude, great skater, huge rh shot. guy gets 50+ points a season in his sleep and on a bad team his +/- is not that bad. besides giroux and stammer... buff is probably the most exciting player i watch. he is an enigma... especially how well he can skate with the puck at his size. Hawks fans always lament the fact he was traded. I follow jaeckel's thread and they always bring him back up in a positive light. take it for what its worth. I think coots will be a great player but as fans i think we way over value him based on one great series against malkin. he's only 20 so maybe i'm wrong. - moylander
I'm more or less with you on this...most people around here think of Buff as a lazy, fat sloth who can't play D and is a problem off the ice. I think a lot of that stuff is overstated. I think if he plays with a defensively responsible partner, he can be very effective in the Flyers lineup without being a liability. I'm not saying he tops my list as a target, but with no elite guys available and the tight market for any proven D, any that are truly available should be taken under consideration. |

If I'm briere I'm not going to waive for any team ..... I get bought out and paid my 2/3 of the reminder of my salary .... And sign another contract with whom ever I want... 2 bites at the apple..... The only way briere waives NTC is b/c management lets him know if he waives he will be taken care of in retirement....scouting or a nice job with the flyers.... |

for MJL's health i hope this doesn't happen...but for every other reason i can think of, i hope it does - isaiah520
Well that is a mistaken thought. I am 100% behind Bryzgalov if he returns. And continue to believe that he is a good Goalie. Who can play much better. Especially if he get's ore support. But if he is brought out, then I will support whoever the Flyers bring in as a replacement. As always I will be objective.
