Here is who I think will be gone after this year....
Bolland - 99%
Emery - 80%
Frolik - 65%
Bickel - 50%
Stalberg - 50%
Sharp - 20%
Seabs -10%
Leddy -10%
Krugman - 5%
Now not all of the players will be moved but just throwing around possibilities.....my opinions. - UnnamedSource
Stals higher than Bickel based on what JJ has heard. Surprised you would have Frolik higher than both.
Krugman has been great this PO. Could he see an OS....

Needs to add an inside move to a strong back hand. I think he has made a few cuts to the center this PO but never saw it in the RS and everyone started funneling him outside.
Hossa could teach the young padwan much. Hope he does. - tredbrta
He sometimes tries to make that extra move when he's one on one and ends up getting stood up and separated, but you're right...early in the year, he was driving wide a lot and usually forced the goalie into making a save.
He's deffo in a perfect learning environment with the assembled veteran talent around him.

I heard Baanerman made his vast fortune on instructional manuals for just that.
Damn! I think the dweeb left. What a jag off. Fun to smack a person so obviously deserving of a beating. Even if it is only here. - tredbrta
It is only here and would be only here. I promise you that. Now go back to your circle jerk with your Internet "buddies". Haters gonna hate. I'll check back in on you kids occasionally but don't always expect a retort because I've got a life, unlike, apparently, you and your "buddies" who don't seem to do much more than post crap on here...

JJ is right when he mentioned Jesus is the replacement for Stalberg. |

Indeed. I do like that 20-65-25 line though. Nice mix of speed, size and forecheck. |

Man oh man what a series we are in for. The Hawks can do this, got to do this.
Original six, the best from each conference and plus, it's my team (Hawks) vs my dad's team (Bruins). Of course I want the Hawks to win. But if they are gonna lose to anyone, then the Bruins would be it. A win for good old dad. Either way, lets go Hawks, and if its Boston, good for my dad, since he is the person that brought me to my first NHL game (Hawks-Leafs) in Toronto when I was 8. Hawks won. I became a fan, the rest is history. Thanks daddy-o.
In conclusion,
LETS GO HAWKS LET'S GO. |

Good day all!
Off to review another classless dive so I can recommend it to innocent tourists.

Damn, you're back and I've go to go.
Looking forward to insulting you much more in the future.
Also, from your first post yesterday you were insulting. If there is a hater it is you and you deserve whatever bad is coming your way. Prepare for it as karma is real.
I just hope it does not include anything bad happening to the Hawks.
You really should be a Nucks fan. You are certainly as ignorant and even more entitled.
Now one more time.... BACK IN THE SHOWER! |

Very difficult series to predict. Both teams seem to be playing their best hockey at the same time. The Hawks transition game and creating turnovers could be the difference.
Again....Like he was against Quick, Crawford doesn't have to be as good as Rask, he just needs to be good enough.
Has Kane finally come out of his slump? If this is the beginning of a hot streak he certainly picked the right time. - UnnamedSource
Not a shot at you, but it is so funny how in the world on this board can I guy win 3 straight series and still not outplay one goalie...even though simple logic and results prove to the contrary. It is because a narrative has been created...so deep seated, that we are unable to just acknowledge what actually happened.
And I further love the set up for the series. All the rave will be Rask and his, actually 1 great series out of 3, being the talk of hockey and the Conn Smythe. Allows CC to sit in the woods again. History shows that seldom does a goalie or a team get to ride dominance one series to the next. Just like going into round two, it was all Lundquist, Con Finals, Quick...now it will be Rask, and like the other three...sell high.
All that said, look forward to some great hockey. Lots of respect for Boston, but what nobody saw in the Pitt series is Boston playing from behind for 1 minute. When they do, they are vulnerable, see Leafs. Also, their big tough defense is that, but also outside of Krug is average to slow a foot. |

Chicago will win the Cup, but it won't be as easy as Minnesota or LA was for the Blackhawks. I think it's in seven games. |

Not sure about LA being "easy" - 3 one-goal games (one a double OT), a deflection away from being back in LA for a game 6 - no, not easy.
Short, but not easy. |

tredbrta: Your recommendations from the other thread read like they were written by a suburbanite. Como Inn has been closed for years and the rest of your recommendations look like you looked at a 1998 Fodor's Guide to Chicago.
UnnamedSource: I see I'm not the only one that thinks you're a self-important turd. Keep posting, pal. People like you. They really do. Just keep telling yourself that.
Glad to see certain people keep calling 88 a passenger who, parenthetically, "finally stepped up" because that fits their narrative better than recognizing Kane's immense talent, heart and unbelievably clutch play.
Glad Ogi finally realized some of his foolishness. Others here have recognized it for a while.
Fans don't have to be bad fans. But, I guess fans that spend countless hours on an Internet message board feel that's their right and many here, including the esteemed blogger, personify that notion. And if you offer a contrary opinion you're called a kook-aid drinker and branded a shill for the organization instead of a reasonable, level-headed poster that sees the vision of the organization and really appreciates what is happening. Maybe you had to have long-suffered as a Hawks fan to have that perspective. - Baaaaaaannerman!

Yes. I'm deeply injured. I'm crying as I type this, in fact. You should feel terrible about yourself because you're a very mean person. Glad your, and JJ's, mischaracterization of prior posts of mine brings so much joy to your life. And, thank you for allowing me to keep posting. My life would not be complete without it. It would be like, well, like I lived in Schaumburg. But I'm sure your double-wide is palatial. Turd. - Baaaaaaannerman!
Here's what's funny. Glib, wannabe barflies in North Side bars—the kind of guys that can't bench press their weight, know nothing about hockey because they never actually played it—love to pick on "Schaumburg."
But the irony is, the same guys who characterize people criticizing McDonough as "only suited to parking his car," don't realize that some people made a LOT of money over the years . . . in places like . . . Schaumburg. Maybe some of them post here!! |

Generally agree on your post here, and not choosing a side in the argument, but have a general question about the highlighted segment, if it was indeed a general comment. How much hockey does one need to have played to know something about hockey? |

I think playing it helps. DOING anything lends itself by the very nature of doing it toward having more perspective.
You do NOT have to have played at any high level, but if you've jumped over the boards in a typical beer league that's credibility-at least on some level. |

None, I know some people who've never played who know quite a bit about it. Quite honestly. Maybe that was a poor choice of words on my part. Duly noted.
But you know what, some people talk about the game like they invented it— relentlessly criiticize others and their opinions when they really have no idea of their own—and say D-U-M stuff. |

I still believe that no one can play better defensivley then Detroit did against the Hawks. Bruins D is tough big physical but I still think they will give us more room to skate and more open ice to create scoring chances. That being said Don Cherry who I respect and is already showing his Boston colours said it best even before the game was over last night. "Boston D has the most goals in these playoffs by defenceman and Chicago doesnt cover the points well" true enough I guess Mr. Cherry but if you think that adjustment is not going to be made before game one. Then its a good thing your behind a camera in the studio because you wouldnt last to long behind the bench this day in age.
The Hawks will be the first real "team" that Boston has faced all playoffs
Hawks in 6 LETS GO HAWKS!!!! |
