It's annoying but not too bad. Newark to Wilmington from door to desk is prolly around 35 - 45 min. So I've had worse commutes. Going home is usually worse. And Fri in the summer blows monkey chunks... LARGE ONES. Everyone headed to the beach stalls it all into oblivion.

the worst is trying to go from Wilmington/Newcastle to Middletown (or worse.. somewhere south of there) on a friday afternoon during summer.

My drive home actually gets better once school lets out, even Fridays in the summer are tolerable.

Husky is a great nickname for Huskins.

Sounds kind of... Manly

You think that's bad, try driving from Philly to NJ on a Friday between 4 and 6 PM in the summer. PA people badmouth NJ all year long, but can't wait to flock to it for the beach.

You know I loved Huskins' play. One of the few bright spots.

Of course, asp is here to see if any of us trash Ryan White for the elbow that ended Husky's season.

I also have a friend with a place on the river. Perhaps you've seen us trying to kill each other with the boat and the big inflatable tube.

Difference is there are many roads that lead to the jersey shore, only 1 road that leads to delaware beaches.

Worst commute I have is New Castle to Bear. At 8:30 am it takes 15 mintues. At 6:00 p.m. it takes 40 minutes.... Explain that.

Dave Pagnotta of the 4th Period, is reporting Bryzgalov, and Briere will be the recipient of compliance buyouts, and Mark Streit is in negotiations to sign a 4 year deal.

The cluelessness continues.

At least for us NJ folks, we can drive to Cape May and take the ferry. Made the mistake one year of missing the last ferry back and had to come home on that 1 road -- during Dover weekend.

Signing guys who are 35+ to deals that long is bad business.

What a circus the Bryzgalov era was. That couldn't have gone worse.

You're not shocked, are you? I think everyone pretty much knew all 3 of those things to be truths. You give him a 4th year to knock down the cap hit, since we have a lot of younger guys that are due extensions (Giroux, Coots, Schenn). A necessary evil, IMO. Who knows, maybe he'll stay healthy and prosper in Philly.

Yikes. Sorry to Hear that Bill. No worries, we're just all waiting to see how much Streit is going to cost us.
