Frolik got greedy on that PK, should have just dumped it in, instead it's a break away, another penalty, and a seemingly insurmountable 2 goal deficit. - Ogilthorpe2
Agreed, dumb play |

Physicality and speed beats speed and finesse every time in playoffs - HawkfaninBC
Not according to the abba crew here...more speed, more finesss, we will skate around them and wow them....the dancing queens, stals and Kane, really look outta their element.
Might be that smash mouth hockey, size with skill...who knew it existed......might be the way to win the cup.... |

If it wasn't for Crawford (and I say this never having been a big fan of his) this series would be 3-0 after tonight. Toews - Nothing. Sharp - Nothing. Kane - Nothing. Bolland - Phucking Moron! |

No, I a realist. Not a cool aid drinking clown like you !
Want to see me be an a-hole. Why did you pick a moniker named after someone who could only stop a fist with his face. The guy was a great person but no way in hell does #3 deserve to be hanging in the rafters at 1901 w Madison |

There's no reason for us to be at each other's throats.
I think we're all here because we love this club. I am as frustrated as any of you and we all have our pet players we love to ride for their flaws.
And now as I write this, I think we're very close to seeing the legend of Davey Bolland finally put to rest.
Bolland with the nice non-clear on the 1st goal and now taking a great unsportsmanlike penalty. Just what the club needed -- take 2 min so the club can play SH for 2 more.
We are seeing how great Q is -- the great motivator and tactician. Crawford once again the only one showing up to play. |

Saying it was a non clear is a bit inaccurate, ggod play by Boston player to lift his stick, the penalty was BS, and I'd rather play short handed than on the PP...sadly. |

Well, there's no doubt that the better team is winning.
Some "experts" claimed the first 2 games showed how "even" the teams were, including most of the fluffers in the Chicago media...
...I feared that the first 2 games showed how good the Bruins were...and now they're showing it. |

Unless something drastically changes in game four, I don't see the Hawks having what they need to beat the Bruins in this series. They have no PP - tonight was even more embarrassing than it's been if that's even possible, they are getting creamed at the dot, they are turning the puck over at both ends of the ice, they have nobody going to the net and when they do get a good chance it's either blocked or Rask is there to make the save. Losing game two, especially after that great start, was a real killer and it's turned this series completely around. |

Crawford has kept us in this series. - Hemingways
Agreed. I've been a "Crow is good enough to win" believer, but he has tried his best to keep us in it this series.
I am bummed, but I cannot be angry at the Bruins. They are the better team, especially when in the playoffs.

Crawford doesn't get a pass tonite: not very good on the first goal, not in good position.
But he has company: offense is non-existence. Except for one shift, Kane is missing. Handzus 0-10 on face-offs. Toews line - no sustained offense. |

This is how I felt too. Hawks have been too inconsistent and B's have been resilient as hell. |
