If you are rebuilding its a good idea to rebuild with outstanding young skilled forwards. Darcy is a moron for not making sure his team finished with a top pick in draft. Hes such a goodie goodie Mr Rogers type I'm sure he thinks tanking the season is bad sportsmanship...for example, Quebec wanted the top pick for Lindros and they made dang sure they weren't going to win. What top scoring prospects does buffalo have? I guess Grigerenko and Armia but they haven't even shown they can score at the AHL level yet. Finish dead last this year or the season is a waste of time.

this makes sense. This is a sensible rebuild plan. I hope we can keep vanek or trade him for an oshie/taresenko/Kuznetsov or something similar to help things along. I have a feeling that setogucci is a good comparable for stafford so we're probably going to keep him or try to deal him at the deadline for a 1st instead of a second we could probably already get for him.
