Perfectly okay with a 2 maybe 3 year rebuild, but this waiting around with an unhappy Miller and the trade talks about Vanek really suck.

i believe vanek is what gets you oshie or brown. we couldn't get both.

my source said they are waiting to the Jagr signing is official. Jagr signs monday. Vanek and Stafford will be off to St Louis to reconnect the Vanek Roy Stafford line. Roy was definitely part of something bigger. Oshie will becoming back to Buffalo, along with a first and two prospects (one being Jake Allen).

Why would Jagr come here? The guy is 72 years old. He doesn't have the time for a rebuild. He has 1, maybe 2 years left. My guess is he'd rather spend the time with a contender as opposed to being a teacher/mentor for the kids.

Just my opinion.

Regarding Jagr, he's not coming here because Darcy wouldn't be that stupid (would he ?) to sign an ancient, SLOW, un-effective, overpriced player. I watched basically every Bruins playoff game and he was just flat-out awful. Yes, he could battle in the corners, but eventually, he lost the puck. He is incredibly slow now and even the play by play guys mention it a few times during broadcasts. Another annoying thing he did was stay on the ice way too long - past the point of exhaustion.

No way would I want this waste of money on our team.

One never knows, or the Dustin Brown one as well.

Actually, it would be a great signing. He plays a half year with us and we flip him for a first like Dallas did last year. When he is traded you bring up one of the kids that spent half the year in Rochester. That said, it isn't happening.
