Miller needs to go. He's going to demand at least 55 games in a contract year which will delay a proper evaluation of Enroth as a potential starter and Hackett as a viable backup.

I'd also expect Miller to play well this year, in part for his next contract and more importantly to get back in the conversation for the Olympics. He could end up stealing enough points to once again cost the Sabres valuable spots in next year's draft.

I think part of of the problem is that there just isnt a market for Miller.

The way of the "franchise goalie" is not en vogue in today's NHL.

Based on what Darcy's been saying, it looks like they'll be going at the deadline.

Garth or Kevin should run a poll asking Sabres fans if they got 1 trade before the season started... who should it be among: Stafford, Miller or Vanek?

I think the answer to that might be interesting... I think most are concerned about Miller and how he may impact this team if he doesn't get moved, but more are probably interested in seeing Stafford dealt at the end of the day. But, maybe I'm wrong.

Now that I think about it... Regier's excuse for not trading Miller and Vanek is that there isn't much interest in the players who are in the final year of their contracts, right? Well, then why hasn't he been able to move Stafford? He has 2 years remaining on his deal... does that mean Regier wants to keep him around? Geez!

With all the youth and move to youth, the first to be traded should be the one who brings the most dissention to the dressing room. Period. I'm not close enough to the situation to know who that might be. Anyone??
