I'd love to see Berra steal the show from the get go but I think it will be Ramo.

I like Berra as well and hope he gets a shot. I'm hoping Berra beats out MacDonald and we see a Ramo/Berra combo.

regardless who it is, it will be pretty thin...
all 3 layers will be thin actually making the overall D possibly the worst in the league.

I am scared that Feaster still glory the early 2000s and grab Bryzgalov to a long term contract...

We expect nothing different...
Ramo will start save a brutal camp or an injury.

I put Ramo in for most starts because i feel the flames will give him a lot of chances at the start of the season because of his contract.

I think MacD starts opening night, with Ramo starting the next night.

Berra will get his chances after about 20-25 games. He will start in the AHL with Ortio. Won't be surprised to see Ortio get some starts near or after the deadline.

I think they trade for somebody after splitting time for the first half of the season. Just don't know who.

I'd say Joey Mac as someone will be looking for a "veteran" backup... he is contrary to the current direction of this team

Guessing Ramo, but I wouldn't be shocked if Thomas or Bryz got a camp invite however; considering they were willing to accept

I think he meant the Flames would trade for a goalie. This is so wrong it hurts tho.

... Why? Why would we invite/sign a goalie that could potentially steal games? This doesn't make any sense, not sure why people think they would do this.

Flames management still is on the win now philosophy and wants a playoff team I thought. I never heard them retract the playoffs or else statement. Did I miss something?

Yes. You missed the part where they said this is a rebuild. They came out and said, we will never support a losing philosophy but that we are aware of the current rebuilding status of the team. The playoffs or else statement was stupid no doubt, but it is not the teams M.O. anymore, that's for (frank)ing sure.

about time! The Flames wouldn't be sitting so bad had they been allowed to move some guys a few years earlier.
