He's always moved to the beat of his own drum, so I guess why would that change now. Question, is there any financial responsibilities of the Flames org if he does retire? Is there some strange CBA clause that still has him as a cap hit? |

Read on another site that Kipper told a Finnish paper that he has retired and that if the flames did not know that the reporter could tell them, or something to that effect.
I doubt he has been training hard this summer, so more than likely he will sign the retirement papers, when Kipper wants to sign the papers. Either way the flames have lots of cap space so it will not matter. |
