Apparently Brendan Morrow was invited to the Habs camp.

But he wouldn't want an invitation, he wants a contract.

It was rumour but the belief is that MB doesn't want to add another salary without a trade. We have $1.8 in cap space and so he would like to keep some wiggle room in there should something happen.

I don't think he was ever offered it. Just like gagne. It was a rumour because of the fact that Morrow approached Habs for a job.

Apart from who we signed it's nice to know that Morrow, Cleary, Gagne, latendresse, Lapierre, Begin all called Bergevin asking for a job. And this is only who we know about.

Looks like we no longer have to beg and plead for UFA's to come here.
