If Komi start playing decent hockey again, he could look pretty good next to a guy like Liles. Hes terrible with the puck so pairing him with a puck mover would be a good idea.

Ouch! Pitkanen's injuries are starting to feel a lot like Justin Williams before the Canes parted ways with him. After the cup run he just couldn't get healthy. LA became the beneficiary of our impatience.
I say Ron Hainsey, quick and in a hurry. The Canes' need depth of the blue line. Jimmy R. needs to pull the trigger, as I'm very leary of a potential early season injury to any of the top 6. If your gonna pay a steeper price, I rather it be on Defense. I understand the going forward rate/salaries, but paying a few in upwards of 5M a season is very restrictive.
