The Canadian jerseys are actually some of the nicest I've seen in a while.
Hockey uniforms are plagued by the belief that more is better. Hence stripes, lighting bolts, silhouettes of hockey players, 5 different colours, etc. This one is simple, bold and communicates a theme really well.
You have to picture this jersey flying around the rink, where the solid colour will stand out and not distract.
As for the US jersey, all I can picture is Phil Kessel's mug mouth-breathing at the camera. |

I'm not going down that road with you.
All the Nike uni's are aimed at the under 20 crowd with money and nothing to spend it on. Tradition and common sense means zip to Phil Knight & Co. |

Down what road? The one where we talk about the Oregon uniforms (and Nike's financial influence on campus) being one of the primary factors in that institution turning its football program around? Cause I think it could be a pretty nice road--you know--possibly littered with discussions about the economics of jersey design and the merits of design boldness for the sake of garnering new revenue streams vs. the need to uphold a sense of tradition. |

Really UGLY! No wonder Toews looks stunned---"I gotta wear this?!"
If this is what is used at Sochi, I'll never buy another nike product again. Maybe someone can start a blog or facebook petition to the Canadian Olympic committee to change this poor excuse for a jersey before its too late. send messages to nike also. |

Ya, I did. I guess those are standard on all the jerseys. Don't like that part, but I like the over all jersey. It's certainly better than the Russian and American ones.

I assume you're talking about these?
I don't mind the Russian one, minus the plastic accents... the design is pretty close to the 2006 ones.
The US jerseys are pretty bad. |
