I hope Malone makes the team, seems like he is carving himself a nice spot on the 4th line and has the potential to see 3rd line duties if he keeps scoring.

I would give Holden a shot, why not, he cant do any worst than Hunwick. I wonder if the play with Hunny is to keep him on the roster until the season starts, just to send him down later on, hoping he gets picked off waivers if teams start seeing they have some D injury issues

I like what Roy said about Elliott, wanting to get him I've time, and that he should be the number 1 guy in LE, I think the best is yet to come with him. For the full team, I would love to see one of those guys beat out Hunwick. Lol.

I really have a good feeling about Siemens and Elliott being paired together in LEM, they played some of their best hockey when they were a unit in Saskatoon.

I can see it being a huge confident booster for both of them, and even better to be brought up as a pair after a few deadline deals with some pending UFAs.

Yeah, Kesler's healthy. A lot of people in Vancouver have been on his case for apparently being a selfish player(shoot first center). I think he has a nice bounceback season under Torts personally. Booth is a punchline here right now. Guy gets hurt and misses more games than he plays. He was just coming off of a season ending injury and then suffered a groin injury about he could even play in a pre-season game. Very possible that he gets bough out next summer unless he bounces back and stays healthy.

Thats all we have right now is a solid Top 9, however Varly is looking sharp in preseason, if the mismash D holds up, we could try and sneak into the playoffs, but thats a lot of ifs in that equation still.

Its all about windows, the nucks had the sedins in their prime and now their window is in its coming up on its twilight.

While the avs have had some very rough years these past few years, but they have drafted well and not signed any awful contracts, so this team finally has a very very solid core.

Van should be a very interesting team these next few years. If Lou goes south, this team could do a rebuild in like 2 years and be right back on the map.

I did like when Musick was writing for the Avs on here, but end of the day he was just a fan coverage from his perspective, Rick is a different breed, a professional covering the Avs, as a Canadian Avalanche fan, this is the closet i will get to local coverage

I do watch games with the center ice package but I never get post game stuff that they show on Altitude,

Interesting, I appreciate the aggressiveness on the waiver wire. But I still would like to give Holden a chance as the 7th Dman, Hunwick can stay down in LEM all season for all I care. I will assume this will be our open night roster
