I think leaf fans are in for a huge shock. After last year's "success" expectations are even higher than normal. I'm not convinced the leafs make the playoffs.

I think Ottawa is the Canadian team to beat out east. Secretively, I hope Ottawa does well this year. Great roster.

I'm torn between Detroit and Ott in the east. The pens get a goalie and look out. And I think Toronto is going to be close but miss the playoffs. Toronto is the Cubs. Ontario little lovable loser.



Also my neighbour just had a little boy and named him Bo

If Anderson stays healthy I think they will go far this year. He's been one of the best in recent years but has poopty luck.

Anderson yr by yr seems so hit and miss. Either vezina candidate or not very good.

Youth doesnt have to mean 18 year olds in their draft year. Schroeder, Corrado and Jensen will all get time on this roster I suspect. Jensen and Shroeder may need to freshen up down in the AHL first but I do expect to see them.

I won't go that far but Ryan and MacArthur for Alfie and Silerburg is a pretty great upgrade.

He can and very well might do a reconditioning stint for a couple of games if thats allowed. Might be a good idea since his camp was cut short. He may be out longer as well...

While i agree with the fact that you shouldn't mess with something that works i would look to spread out the secondary scoring ( as we lack it) in the form of moving Burrows off the 1st line. Furthermore if this Dalpe kid has the passing ability/finishing as advertised then we have so many interchangeable parts for the bottom 9.

One thing i think many Canucks fans forget is the fact that our powerplay dropped from one of the top 3 in the league over the last few years to 22nd last season under AV's burned out ass. If that gets fixed it will be smooth sailing to the playoffs, its the post season identity that remains to be seen.
