If you do get a lotto pick hopefully the devils don't win the lottery like that time when the Isles had the 4th pick. Luckily for us now we have Strome and they have Larrson
- mighty13duck

They'd need a first round pick to win it. Poor bastards

I think Lu still believes the Devils will be contenders this year

JD helped rebuild that organization when he should have been doing it for us, always thought he should have been the GM after Smith

They are going to be a force. I say either them or Chicago in the Finals out of the west. They were one goal away the last two seasons.

Ducks may give their all with the last year of Selanne and Silfverberg looks awesome, I would say Ottawa lost that trade

Bobby Ryan is a good power foward but Silfverberg and a first plus that other kid is quite a bit too give up. I think losing Alfedson is going to have more of an effect than most suspect. Another overrated/overhyped team IMO.

That other kid (Noesen) is also a first round draft pick, and a real good player. Solid second line type. So, the Ducks really did get a good return, like you said.

Not panicking yet. Lose BAD tomorrow and I panic.
- mrhattrick27

Already writing tomorrow's game off as a loss. It's the next game in Washington that really has peaked my interest. If they lose that game, and in shameful fashion, I think a myriad of moves will start being made.

It's one thing to lose to three really good western conference teams, despite the severely lopsided scoreboard, but a blowout loss to an average conference rival and now we are entering the danger zone.

That's right couldn't remember. Guess they were believing the hype surronding their own team as far as that first round pick? Might be a little lower of a pick then they first suspected? Giving up three 1st round picks one of which(that I'm aware of)is an A+ blue chip prospect in Silfverberg is quite a bit. Ducks made out quite nicely especially for a player that has been rumored to be on the block for the last few yrs.

Rangers should take note. Sorry but this team has too many expiring contracts to not unload on some of them.

Truth be told, most fans on here are better than fans on other sports forums, period.

Isles fans are actually really cool here; with the exception of a few of course. Some Devils, Flyers and even Pens fans are tolerable on this site.

Leafs fans are primarily a lost cause; no matter what forum.

I think that's a pretty accurate assumption. Sather's hand would be forced at that point if not Dolan's. Unless he took the "all is fine here" route which would be stupid IMO. You'd have to do something five games in or not.

Isles fans on this website are the most passionate knowledgable fans around. Ever since Chickendirt left their hockey IQ has gone through the roof.

That Caps game will be their sixth. For discussion's sake, let's say they are 1-5 and have a humiliating goals for/goals against comparison, how can any organization sit there and say "all is well"? Especially when the strength of this team has been defense, even before the Tortorelle regime, and now that has become as equally as deplorable as their offense has been.
