My love for Taylor Hall is irrational

Solid win. They really took the onus on possession and strung it all together.
Martin getting that assist was truly hilarious though.

The Penguins ability to get creative with salary cap figures might take a hit in the near future. Botterill a lead candidate to replace Darcy Regier who looks to finally be canned.

Kaleta gone. Lapierre next. Just blasted Boyle into the glass. He left on a stretcher.

In Shero I trust. Maybe Botterill will do us a solid and trade us Miller for Engo... (yeah, I know the numbers don't work)

Yes he is, but this isn't the worst hit, it's being a repeat offender that kills him.

Hey, you never know.... EJ gave us the "real" Ron Francis and Ulf Samuelsson during his stay at the whale.

"Eddie Johnston always said he was going to build a Stanley Cup winner," "He didn't tell us it was going to be in Pittsburgh." Said former Whalers broadcaster Chuck Kaiton

Ryan, this is interesting... I'd prefer to have Dudley as GM ... He's proven ability to lead a rebuild...on a couple teams and he deserves to do so in Buffalo, a return home so to speak. More excited about news of Darcy going than with who replaces him..he is horrible. new GM has some nice chips to play with.. miller is playing out of his tree... Only goals that seem to get by him are deflections of skates cause our D can't clear the front of the net...he keeps playing like this they can get a fortune for him...NY Isles, Edmonton, Philly, and others, yes Pitt too ... Teams that are a very good goaltender away from competing for the cup. And then Vanek at trade deadline deal...should get similar to Pommenville trade last year..that takes $14m off the books...buyout Stafford and Leino and there's another $8M .. Cap goes up and new GM has picks, prospects and $30m in cap space for '14-'q5 season to go after key FA's

Dudley is certainly a very good candidate as well, but don't sleep on Botterill, he is the underrated part of Shero's evil trade machine and contract negotiations

It makes even more sense when you consider the Pittsburgh connections that Pegula and Black have, plus the ties to Rochester and Buffalo that Botterill has. The Buffalo News has been writing about Botterill for close to two years now; I would love to see this happen!
