Kaleta gone. Lapierre next. Just blasted Boyle into the glass. He left on a stretcher.

Yes it was. Trying to make perfect pass. Just get the bloody thing in deep. Despres's big body would come in handy.

I feel like he's directly trolling me. He's been slacking at both ends. Wouldn't mind switching Kobasew and Jeffrey up and giving Sutter a few more minutes. Play them harder in the neutral zone and down low. They're having a field day with their speed.

The Penguins don't have to play that game. The Oilers do. I'll never understand how they fall into this stuff.

It's the "we are an elite team we can win on fancy stuff', self delusion.

was that second period as lackluster watching it as it sounded listening to the game online?

There's no denying that. I'd love to be flying around out there. It's the staffs job to get them thinking of making the right plays and hammering the puck down into the other end though. They appear too busy down low in their own zone to clog lanes and support passes.

Both goals allowed were a result of speed and not having a bead on the man. Fleury couldn't do much. In fact he had interference from his own men on them.

Blame that penalty on Niskanen trying to be Lemieux exiting the zone.

At least Bortuzzo. Engo ain't cutting it. I don't care if they're "showcasing" him.....as ridiculous as that sounds.

He was fantastic. Some of those saves were head shakers.
