I seriously doubt Darcy gets canned. - SABRES 89
I understand having the shield up as a Buffalo sports fan but its gonna happen. Keep those fire Darcy chants at the home games and it will be sooner than later.
I didn't think Ralph would have voluntarily give up his decision making on the Bills either. |

I say this because, Pegula and CO. were on board with what Darcy is trying to do and that's a rebuild(yet again). So that's why I have my doubts. |

Venom from the fans, local media, and national media has been increasing steadily. There has to be a point where Pegual says F it, lets just do this. |

He doesn't seem to knowledgeable when it comes to being an NHL owner, maybe the time has finally come. |

It's pretty nice to have Glass making more of an impact in games let alone scoring more than our biggest rival's"best player"
I do feel bad for Steve Mason and Ryan Miller though. Playing at a high level and watching your team struggle to score more than a goal per game?

Same poop as usual out east. Wonderful snow fall than creates an amazing winter wonderland....for like two seconds. Then it rains and everything turns to ice and slush for 5 months. |

As much as people love to believe that pro sports teams just love holding their fans hostage, it's rarely true. Eventually, PR gets to bad that you have to make a move (see the Richard Jauron billboard). If fans make enough noise, something will be done. That can get scary, however, because running a team via mob rule won't win you any championships.
Edit: the fact that Jauron's first name gets edited makes me laugh. |

Cool, I've been meaning to get into that. Some friends do snow shoeing, but I think you need pretty consistent snow for that. |

Good game last night. Not the Pens best effort, but it had its moments:
Fleury looks great so far this season. Don't know if it's the upgraded defense or the new goalie coach, but he doesn't seem as frantic as he used to be.
This was probably Maatta's worst game so far, but he still looked good. If he can put on 15 pounds of muscle over the next few years, he is going to be a top 5 defenseman in this league. All the skill and the hockey IQ is there.
Crosby is in mid-season form. If he stays healthy this year, he is going to run away with all of the hardware. Right now, the only person stopping him sweeping the awards is himself.
Considering the hottest topic this offseason in here was people worrying about the bottom 6, they have been great in these first 6 games.
It's scary to think this team is averaging close to 4 goals a game this season without 2 of its biggest offensive weapons.
