Seriously guys...you should relly not go to Miller. He's not the goalie he used to. HE's playing good right now but only because the Olympics are coming. Your defence is ok to mediocre...same as Buff. He will become desperate as he usually is with buff pretty quickly. Hiller..he's ok but hey your call.

You need top notch goalie to bail you out regularly to allow you to develop. Ottawa had Anderson to help us. We still 1st in the league for most shot on goal allowed on our goalies and yet we win games and keep it close. We are never out of the game. Why? Because Andy is the best goalie in the league right now.

You should really stop wasting time shopping for ok goalie. Get the best and pay the price; or keep sinking.

Lehner is to us what Nuge is to you. No way...sorry. He's our future...and that future is very close. Andy is there to take. He's just as good. Do you want your players to think offence and worry so much about the shot on their goal. With Andy making 94% of save on shot...that will win you games. Please keep shopping and when you are ready, we will be listening.

What about Craig Anderson? He's cheap at about 3.2mil, has one more year on contract, is a bit older, so he can teach Dubnyk a few things, and OTT is likely open to dealing him as Lehner seems ready to take the #1. I could see OTT accepting Smid + Hemsky + 1st (this year or next EDM choice) or a decent prospect in return. Smid is in MacT's doghouse, Hemsky they'd need to chew some salary on but have been searching for a taker for a while now, and the 1st being a EDM choice will likely be around 20th and not useful for at least 2-3 years...
