I think you are right.

I haven't seen much of him since his knee surgery--but he's "HAD" a lot more offensive skill than Simmonds currently has. He was a much better passer and skater in TB and in COL.

Downie doesn't quit. He'll be a fan favorite by season's end so long as he recovers and remains healthy.
