Giroux needed a strong game like this.
And (frank) the haters, this is his team and the beat writers and kiss my ass. There wasn't one guy on the that bench that wasn't (frank)ing on their feet happy for G. |

If its L schenn and Simmonds for hemsky and let's say a 2nd Im doing it. It's obvious from the rumors nobody's touching hartnell with a Hal gill stick - Just5
It's the price you pay for getting out of bad long term deals. Even though they're young players. I don't care much for them.
I have serious doubts simmer will ever be more than a 3rd line scoring forward
I don't care where luke was drafted. He is expendable as a guy who has failed to nail a top 4 role after 5 years now. |

Yeah, let's sell low on two solid young players for a guy EDM's been trying to give away for months (if not years), and a 2nd-rounder in a weak draft. Sounds like a plan. - Tomahawk

Exactly what I said my Russian friend.
This is his team. How do I know? Because everyone on the bench was up hugging each other and even the coaches too. G came back for the fist pump line, and it's not the usual "stick your glove out there" lines. Guys were leaning over the boards patting him on the helmet and back. Oh, and STEVE MASON went to the bench to give G a congratulatory head bump. Skated from his crease, to the bench, during the game.
That shows me that this team loves their captain. That shows me that we have no right to speculate what goes on in this locker room, because it's poop like this that speaks volumes. This is Giroux's team. End of story.
Suck it Tim. |

Probably off topic, but whatever
to all the people saying we should trade Brayden Schenn because he's a bust and he sucks, no heart, etc etc etc
Guy was 2nd on the team in points for the month of October.
So maybe some of you need a reality check.
Vinny lead the team with 7P, missed 3 games
Giroux & Schenn 6P each
then like 5 skaters with 4P
so maybe some of you should realize that the entire team struggled in October.
Just some nice facts i'd like to point out
Hartnell had 0P and while there was some hate, not near the level of Schenn. Schenn was one of the only players to show some heart early on in the season. Not everyone will give their 100% every damn game.
I cant wait till Mason has a bad game and see all the fans jump on his ass. Ill just be sitting here laughing my ass off at all those idiots
enjoy your days |

WTF are you talking about?
Simmer's a high-20's goal scorer... Schenn was a top-4 dman last season... and you want to dump them BOTH for a guy who hasn't broken 20-goals and 50-points since 2008 and a 2nd-round pick?

Teams like Montreal would give up plenty for Simmonds. No need to give him (and LSchenn) away for a 30 year old UFA. |

I don't understand the desire of so many to trade the one dman on the team with size and skating ability who chews up major mins. People wanted Carle gone and now female dog that they let him go. I know he makes some glaring blunders at times but I for one do not want to see him traded and if they do that they better be getting a young puck mover in return |

he is a legit 2nd pairing guy and could play first pair minutes with, say a Kimmo in his prime.

another win for the Phantoms, 2-0 over Albany. Gotta really give Murray credit for having them play so well right now. |
