why?

hard to say what the value is because hes a good player and a high draft pick but shutdown D arent worth as much as the offensive guys usually. does florida need an offensive defenseman like gardiner?

The only thing Erik Gudbranson shuts down is his ability to actually shut down players, he has one of the worse +/- in the league. He is no shut down defenseman, far from it, very far from it.

Nah, Tallon isn't a dumb GM, look at what he did for CHI. Doubt he trades EG, just dumps the vets that didn't work out.

And I did read it, I'm happy to stick with our current D.
