Clarkson signing looks ugly right now, Mason's looks great.
Bernier and Bolland trades both look great, buyout of Komisarek and Grabovski over Liles looks bad.
Signing Kessel long term was important.....we'll see what happens with Dion.

As per usual, you've got it all wrong. Gillis is a knucklehead if you ask me. IMO Burke's personality rarely allows him to see his work blossom, no one (management) can stand him for more than five years.

Agreed. But I consider re-signs (ie: Bozak) to be Nonis' burden/player now. Along with the free agentsClarkson and Raymond. Plus trades for Bernier and Bolland.

Burke also credits Nonis will most of the framework on the trades, Nonis had a hand in a lot of the players the Leafs got when Burke was here.

This is definitely Burke's team but keeping in mind Nonis has only 1 off season under his belt and the players he has brought in I'd say he's off to a great start.
