and hey, great, all the points count. But the Vancouver and Chicago games were a pretty clear indication that the Leafs can't play the way they are playing and beat good teams.

I'd take stastny over Bozak. Easily. Put Stastny between JVR/Kessel and I guaran(frank)ingtee he gets more points than Bozak.

No, schenn is just added toughness, i just like having assurance and tough guys on the team that bring something tangible, in your view schenn sucks, in my view he can be transformed into something better. I highly doubt schenn ever returns here but i would of wanted to see him under carlyles system and how carlyle used him. Schenn was good at blocking shots as well if you recall

We're losing the hockey game and need to come back and win. What we don't need is to have our best Dman sitting in the penalty box while we play goon squad instead of hockey. Im all for toughness and fighting, but the Leafs needed to focus on scoring some goals than they needed to focus on fighting.

The Leafs employ 2 goons for a reason, and it's not so the teams best players can fight instead of produce, nor is to play them in the 3rd period to take penalties instead of trying to come back when losing.

Phaneuf destroyred 3 guys earlier in the game. His massive hit shortly after the Clarkson fight was what really turned the game around for the Leafs.

3rd period was terrible officiating.

And who do you trade to get Stastny? I would take Bozak, keep the assets needed to get Stastny, and pocket the cap savings. Its a brutal idea.

It doesnt have to be in fights, we got merked in physicality regardless(hits etc) we "allowed" boston to walk all over us and run us over in the 3rd which lead to the loss. It doesnt matter if we have bozak, bolland, in the line up, regardless you cant make them walk all over you

they really didn't. Should have had PP's on both the Chara plays. Aside from that, physicality was pretty even over the game. Ranger, Phaneuf, Fraser, and Franson were destroying guys all night. They all had massive hits.

So you fuss and whine because someone mentions out hitting Boston and you replied with a rant about not fighting enough, and now you turn around and say it doesn't have to be in fights.

We allowed Boston to outplay us in the first, and we outplayed them the majority of the rest of the game. The teams were equal in the physical department. Drink less next game, is my advice.

That just because they managed to squeak out a few wins against poopty teams last month, doesn't mean they will do it again against better teams next month.

Take a look at the December schedule. If they keep playing they way they have been (2nd period against Boston excluded) they will not be .500 for December.

Are we not generating enough offense? or is it that defenses fault? Who are allowing to many chances or shots? What is your view? In what areas are we outplayed? Boston scored 2 PP goals, that's it. Leafs didn't get the calls BOS did. Should have had 3 more PP's at least.

I think the part that pissed me off is how often Boston took a dirty shot and we just took it. I must have missed a few of our good hits somehow, but if it was closer than I think, I'll take your word for it. But we got pushed around when someone needed to stand up and say "that poop can't (frank)ing happen"
