We allowed Boston to outplay us in the first, and we outplayed them the majority of the rest of the game. The teams were equal in the physical department. Drink less next game, is my advice.

Are we not generating enough offense? or is it that defenses fault? Who are allowing to many chances or shots? What is your view? In what areas are we outplayed? I think the part that pissed me off is how often Boston took a dirty shot and we just took it. I must have missed a few of our good hits somehow, but if it was closer than I think, I'll take your word for it. But we got pushed around when someone needed to stand up and say "that poop can't (frank)ing happen"

there were maybe 3 plays in the 3rd, but that was when Leafs were trailing and couldn't afford to take a penalty. I'm a lot more pissed we didn't get a PP call there.

Chara in the box is almost a gimme goal for out PP. (frank)ing aweful. And I'm not one to win about the refs, but that's (frank)ing brutal. Have to make at least 1 call there.

um, they did.

Boston scored 2 PP goals, that's it. Leafs didn't get the calls BOS did. Should have had 3 more PP's at least.

I didnt expect to "win" this game, but at least stand up tall. I saw the fights and the hits we did but that was in beginning. So, in other words, you don't think it's worth it to try to get Stastny as an upgrade to Bozak, especially because it doesn't make sense and isn't viable.

At least you concede it's a stupid idea, though without totally bailing on it to salvage some pride. Let's not assume it will cost less. Some team will over pay him, don't you worry about that.

The team got owned because the team lost. It's not because the Leafs, one of the toughest teams in the league, isn't tough enough. Boston scored on their chances, the Leafs didn't. It's that simple.

I actually think they should change alot of things, but you guys are throwing old guys names around like its going to help? Who are smallish? Will not help us. Its not about the stop gaps, its about matching against teams like chicago and teams like boston. We arent there yet. But at the same time, we can remain alive and "win" games because we have the talent to push us through

Why can't veterans help us? Who cares what size they are? We need guys who can play, not fight. It's all about stop gaps, because you're replacing injured players, not filling permanent holes, by trading for non elite centers.
