Because they should be trying to win as much, and as often as they can. And in a cap world, cheap veterans with very short term contracts are a benefit. You can't just assume you're going to remain in a playoff race, but what you can do is give your team the best chance you can to compete for a spot.

You are suggesting we find a permanent replacement for the guys who are injured. Not stop gaps.
But finding a guy to replace Bolland permanently, when he was doing just find for us before makes zero sense.

fully agree it was a very rough start, but for the money he's fine. And he's got a bit of Nasty too.

I respectfully disagree. I have seen ONE nice pass from behind his own goalline and hit a guy in stride. Thats about it for me.
