I still call bullpoop on that.

no (frank)ing way Kessel lets Bozak decided where they are going to play.

Because we don't know if our team can compete when healthy yet?
You are suggesting we find a permanent replacement for the guys who are injured. Not stop gaps.
But finding a guy to replace Bolland permanently, when he was doing just find for us before makes zero sense.

- UsernameUnknown

That is far from what i am saying. I didnt say permanently replace bolland. I love bolland. I am saying acquiring stop gaps will arguably make us win more games but will not put us over the top, will not make us a better team, will not make us better than chicago. We have to get substantially better to even compete against a team like chicago, etc. How do you expect to go far in the playoffs if no changes are made when we have some viable holes in this team. I honestly dont think our defense is that great, and we still need a #1 center. For offense and the whole we are outshot and not getting enough shots, im sure thats all a load of poop when we have the offense in lupul, kadri, kessel, jvr who have provided the offense in the past to help this team succeed. And bolland helped in that department alot too so i dont see the whole our offense is suffering big time

I respectfully disagree. I have seen ONE nice pass from behind his own goalline and hit a guy in stride. Thats about it for me.
- Leafland

1 more than Fraser made last year.

I've noticed that his passes (almost) always seem to be accurate, but way too heavy. Nobody can handle them.

i would guess, due to the problems he's had getting a contract, while watching others get far too much and too easy, that Franson will jump to the highest bidder as soon as he can.

Okay. Then you have two separate thoughts getting fused into one messy one.
Yes, we need stop gaps, to replace the injured. Example, a better center to take Bollands spot til he's back,

But yes, we also need to upgrade our spots of need. Sadly it'll be a year or two until we bother searching for a 1C.
And yes, we do need better overall D. That group of 8 will thin out by the end of the year, and I'm sure will be addressed before next season.
I see your want to upgrade to make this team better, but patience is a virtue, child. It'll happen.

Philly may just be getting their act together. Been playing far more inspired hockey lately.

As for Ottawa, it's confusing as to what's up, seems like a huge step back so far this year.

Instead of a stop gap, ive mentioned before trying to get paul gaustad from the predators, you can arbuably trade liles straight up or try and get them to retain some salary from him and acquire him through a trade where i dont think he will cost alot. Paul Gaustad, strong fighter, huge, wins faceoffs. Is the type of guy that would fit a more longer term aspect and to carlyles liking... and this is where i would love gaustad on the team when it comes to facing boston, because he brings alot of tangibles to the table
