What am I missing? Seems like a decent, but not great prospect. Have to admit, I didn't pay much attention to baseball this summer.

he was the top rated prospect in all of baseball a few years ago, and hes physically a beast. has a ton of potential and hes 7 years younger than joey bats and is an outfielder. i love bautista but unless the team wins in the next 2-3 years this trade makes sense, especially if they can dump arencibia and get a starting pitcher back as well

They are all really young. Don't want Schenn. Bogo meh... Dumba and Trouba aren't going anywhere. Myers is a big risk and looks like he lost a step. Hamonic is gritty and would be perfect but i doubt the islanders would let him go.

hes older than them this was before they got drafted i think. trout is the real deal imo top 3 player in the mlb already its insane.

Ahh poor schenn, always hated Trouba is amazing, wont be going anywhere for sure. I can see dumba possibly available if gardiner was made available. Myers could be made available. Hamonic makes no sense to move cause islanders defense sucks. Gudbranson is a maybe. Bogosian is pretty decent. Due to colorados recent play... i doubt E.Johnson is available

Id rather have Doughty.. But either way there will not be a trade with LA. If there is one i think we will most likely see an experienced center. Not much out there, and with Florida and Philly turning things around a bit it might be more difficult.

Actually.. Come to think of it, Phaneuf for Doughty might make some sense. They are similar players but Doughty has a bit more upside. LA might be looking to move the expensive Doughty and would be willing to take a risk on Phaneuf to create some cap space. Dion's wife would probably love to go back to Cali too.. Just something to think about. Rielly being groomed by Doughty would be amazing.

There ain't many things better than watching Ottawa struggle. When the Leafs were sucking during the rebuild Sens fans were the worst. They never shut up. It's hard to imagine them sucking for long tho. They just need to find a way to keep the puck out of their net. Lehner is a good goalie. Maybe move Anderson now while he's worth something and upgrade a bit on the back end.
