How has Detroit not given more games to Jonas? He's 3-0-0 with a 2.12 gaa and .937 sv% compared to Howard's 5-5-5 record with 2.67 gaa and .910 sv%.

I get Howard is supposed to be the starter, but when you're backup has those numbers...why not give him more games? I've always thought Howard was WAY overrated anyway

Actually.. Come to think of it, Phaneuf for Doughty might make some sense. They are similar players but Doughty has a bit more upside. LA might be looking to move the expensive Doughty and would be willing to take a risk on Phaneuf to create some cap space. Dion's wife would probably love to go back to Cali too.. Just something to think about. Rielly being groomed by Doughty would be amazing.

Not saying he's totally back, but it's definitely a good start. I always like Gus and wanted him to stick around. Although I don't have any illusions about him. If he had stayed in Toronto he likely wouldn't have rebounded at all.

I've never thought Phaneuf "sucked". Overpaid...yes. But he's also not worth trading straight up for Doughty lol.
