Easy remedy, when you come into the thread, it is best not to make an antagonistic type comment, instead join the convo.

nonis thinking he could trade liles instead of buying him out was a mistake.

signing clarkson for all those years at that salary was a mistake.

team is still in a great spot so no need to get our knickers in a knot.

dion will be resigned.

Clarkson has played all of 7 games as a leaf and is still trying to get up to speed after missing the first 10 games. he's not even 30 years old and his contract will expire when he is 36. How is that to long of a term. He had 15 goals last year in a short season and 30 the year before, all for a guy that isn't considered a goal scorer and brings a ton of intangibles.

Not gonna say I'm a fan of Chara's, but I'm 6'5" and play hockey, and it seems like their is a height disadvantage and much of an advantage.

I just don't see how tall guys can hit smaller players at all without contacting any part of their head. The only way is to throw a hip check or get down super low, which isn't always possible.

My league is non contact but playing D I always have guys trying to deke/dipsy doodle around me, and if you play the body (legally) they often skate head first into my chest or shoulder.

Maybe you're just not a very good hockey player?

Clarkson will never live up to that contract, but welcome to free agency.

He's going to be solid. He's missed 10 games and has been through a revolving door of linemates/roles on the team.

He's in a completely new environment. New systems and teammates.

Everyone calm down.

It is a good point but when the league comes out and says zero tolerance on head shots and height is not an excuse for a head shot, they must call it. How he gets away with numerous elbows to the head and my favourite, driving his forearm to the back of the head of an opponent into the boards.

I was playing around with him, he really did not do anything different that a lot of other posters do, no need for a ban.

Good Luck Lefty. You're dealing with a fan base that reacts like a raccoon backed into a corner by a pack of dogs.

Next will be the insults towards the Canucks, the pointing our our SC deficiencies, then the personal insults.

Happens every time.

- moondawg

curious.. an argument could be made that you were the first to point them out today
