Absolutely, when teammates see the top 2 players on the club, Giroux and Voracek, not hustling, what kind of message do you think that sends?

The next time I see Voracek not hustling will be the first.

According to TSN, Couts and Read each had just under 23 mins of ice time, they must have had a heck of a game. Couts has sure embraced Berube's thinking of each player having a role and being within it.

Coots was everywhere. Just so confident and taking charge of things when he's out there.

The second Tampa Bay goal on Wednesday, both he and Giroux stopped skating hard on the back check.

It's amazing what happens to a player's confidence when the coach shows his faith in him and provides him with good linemates on a consistent basis.

Couturier is brimming with confidence....last season, those two breakaways end up as weak shots from the circle or simple dump ins, rather than two outstanding scoring chances

Bob against Bryz...you know Bob wanted that game in a bad way. And good for him.

Good idea, we can see how many more goals he has than most of our team.

I despise this guy, but I'll give credit when it's due. This is a pretty interesting article.

I really have to question if you ever actually saw Paul Coffey...because he was a (frank)ing horrible defensive player. He made Nik Zherdev look like Bob Gainey.
- Jsaquella

Yeah, even Bobby Orr, greatest D to ever play the game, was a notorious risk-taker on the ice. He recently did an interview where he admitted that he wouldn't have been able to get away with half the stuff he did in the day if he played today.

F"n pathetic. Taxes like this are just bullpoop, especially when it's selective. Can't tax the hillbilly sports...

Tennessee does not impose individual state income tax. Also, NFL players facing the Titans in Nashville and NASCAR drivers at Bristol Motor Speedway are exempt from the tax.

Instead, the tax is levied against NHL players in Nashville and NBA players in Memphis, where the money goes to repay loans handed out for the building of their arenas. The total take between both sports is estimated at $4.5 million per year.

How close to Orr are you going to place Byfuglien?

there is a guy that posts on tsn that accuses the flyers of having a very small, but passionate, fanbase in the city; while i disagree with that assessment of our fans i would guess that in a place where the sport is relatively new, with as many people that pack that building each night, i would say it applies there. it was hartnell, a former pred, who made the statement. also, it is not uncommon to find other-city-themed sports bars in towns. it is possible that is a chicago bar and was there before the preds were
