Absolutely. And with Timonen most likely retiring at the end of the season, I'd love to have him, even if it means overpaying. He'll be a big part of team USA come February also. Just a pipe dream though.

Just thinking about the 5 on 3 at the start of the period. Lecavalier has been fantastic for us but he's terrible around the offensive blue line. It's like he freezes up, doesn't know what to do and turns the puck over everytime.

I think Toronto will overpay for Phaneuf before he hits the market. I heard he wants to make even more money than he's already making (6.5 mil/year). That's ridiculous to me. I think he's between 5-6, def not more than 6.

So many miss Jagr and you make a great point by pointing this out. Regardless if we make the playoffs or miss the playoffs or even win the Cup this season, the Flyers are in a transition. Timonen is gone next season, so I would work on re-adjusting the Power Play now by having Lecavalier working the right half wall that should give space to Giroux on the left side like Jagr once did. Plus Streit has the best point shot on the team up top.

Back to what I was saying though, Lecavalier has allow two or three goals this season alone by turning the puck over at the blue line. He sucks there. One of his few weeknesses. They've gotta keep him away from there.

Streit has been prone to the blue line turnover also.
