Two out of three IS bad. When you blow 10 multigoal leads in the third period...its horrible. Throwing away that game v. the Ducks is bad. Its a clear indication of just HOW BAD OUR DEFENSE IS. How understaffed it is. How your sucking up to the front office to get access to your precious BLOGGER BOX precludes you from saying so.

Hickey is NOT an NHL defensemen.
Carkner is a reserve dman at best.
Strait is a bottom pair defensemen.

And nothing criticizing Garth for not going out and making a deal to fill this need. Nothing criticizing Chairman Wang for not allowing him to do so.

Nope... just "two out of three ain't bad" when its the ONE THAT GOT AWAY which is the clear picture as to why we are not in the playoff race. And this isn't just a "this season" thing. Throughout Cappy's and his two predecessors tenures as coach, this team has been unable to protect and extend leads in the third period. And YOU REMAIN SILENT on the topic.

Because you are what is wrong with BLOGGERS. You want the access and you'll sell any credibility to get it. Where would the Isles be if they had only blown HALF of those 10 multi-goal leads? You don't know because you won't ask such questions, or what leads to these blown leads, to the powers in this organization. Its why you should stop writing. In fact, "7th woman" should not have won that award since employees and interns of organizations should have been exempt and by what you've written the past several years, that is exactly what you've been.

Dee.....

Since you have reiterated numerous times that you will dislike the movement into Brooklyn and it will be hard pressed for you to attend any/most games. Maybe its time for you to ask those tough questions to Snow and others, and not really worry about your press pass credentials. Those are the answers that Islander fans what to hear. Until you do, you lack major creditability as an Isles blogger.
Keep in mind that the PEN is mightier than the sword.....

That is not her fear... She's not worried about losing press credentials..

She is worried about not being liked. Pure and simple.

Her worst nightmare is Snow or any of the players being mad at her.

I will say it again... if you don't like Dee's blog you don't have to read them.. there isn't any reason to critique them every time. For the same reason the Loudville kids drive me nuts sometimes with their soccer chants. I don't let it get me too upset. I love that they are always there and the effort they put into it.

Dee I appreciate the effort and the passion. As Always... Merry Christmas to you and yours.
