I really liked the way Parenteau played earlier in the year but he has been awful lately. Granted, the entire offense has been lackluster at best but it will be interesting to see how the guys react to the line changes with Parenteau out.
The Avs have looked good at times but just haven't been the same since Tangs went down. I really hope he gets back sooner rather than later. With the Central being so tough this year, the playoffs could get away from us pretty quickly with a couple more of these losing streaks.
And on a side note, it sure is good to have Wilson back. He played almost 19 minutes last night and was a +1. Hejda and EJ were minus again. Yes, Barrie makes some mistakes but I wouldn't mind seeing him and Wilson getting a bit more TOI. Other than Varly's play last night, Wilson and Barrie's play have been one of the few bright spots in the past few games. |

When things are looking sour...just put a bunch of Eastern Conference teams on the schedule. That cheers everyone up! |

I'm glad Byfuglien sucker punched VARLY after the jets scored to win it! It might just wake these Cinderella's up! Nothing else seems to be getting through to these guys. The 14-2 fluke is over. I hate the missing tanguay excuse! Yeah the team would be better with all it's players healthy but we have more than enough talent on offense to be scoring at least 2 or 3 goals every night. This team is just grasping at excuses again when they have none. |
