KatieStrangESPN: Per @Russostrib, Zenon Konopka placed on waivers. Gritty 4th-liner, good from faceoff circle. Wouldn't be shocked if he gets claimed
i'm interested.... |

I've read that on here numerous times from your fans. It's not my imagination. Taking stupid penalties at the worst times is verbatum what I've seen posted on here numerous times. I also do watch a decent amount of Ranger games. - Cptmjl
There was 1 game cally took a bad penalty in ot and lost us the game this season. You might be referring to that and exaggerating/implying that that's the norm for him. |

I was laughing at how you said it which is funny because you're on our thread constantly and see us b!tching about this same exact thing when referring to our own team yet "islander fans" are too stupid and lack knowledge AND only care about points to see this? Give your head a shake. You're debating with yourself. As far as the point debate you do it daily on our thread - Cptmjl
6 of you literally said grabner is a better player than nash because he scores more goals per 60 minutes last season.... |

It was actually one guy bcs I remember the debate but i won't mention his name. It all started when you came over trolling saying how Hagelin was the next Pavel Bure and Grabner was a one dimensional POS. I remember it vividly but if it makes you feel better to exagerate by all means go ahead. |

I've wanted him for a few yrs now, ever since the Isles let him walk, then Ottawa 2 yrs ago, grit, experience, cheap, sign me up. |

all Konopka is good is winning faceoffs and punching people in the face. I'd rather pass on him. |

I am all for it if he isn't picked up by someone else before it gets to us.
I haven't seen him play much this year, wonder why the Wild would waive him.
But toughness and faceoffs, we need help in both areas

Nah, I'm not someone that's going to come over here and troll which I think most of you guys are aware. I've read it on here before though you guys seem to be more up and down emotionally than even us this season . One day you guys want someone traded and you want to blow up the team and three days later you're marching to the Stanley Cup |

Yep. That's him. The ONE guy . Some others may have joined in but it was only to bust rangerdanger's chops at that point. I don't think there's an Islander fan alive that would chose Grabner over Nash and I'm a fan of a Grabner. |

Here is the way the Rangers board works. There are two factions -- the blow it up faction, and the more conservative faction. When times are bad, the blow it up faction can be very noisy. But, when times are good, they are less noisy, and the conservative faction becomes more prominent. I don't think it is necessarily the same people saying different things. I think it is more of a function of who is talking the loudest. |

#NYR Rangers have had contract discussions with Dan Girardi's camp. As of earlier this week, had not had talks with Anton Stralman's |

I don't think I'm too irrational. But looking the Rangers an seeing them only having a 31% to make the playoffs, it's difficult for me to get excited or believe in this group. |

I would rather just save the cap space, because the Rangers are approaching the level where they may be able to add someone without salary going back the other way, which makes deals easier to make (i.e., second tier scorer on a struggling club for a pick or B level prospect).

Stralman will be paid handsomely if he hits the open market. |

I don't think you're irrational at all. I think some others tend to go a little overboard with the blow it up stuff, but I don't consider you one of them. Hell, I don't even think it is an unreasonable position to want to "blow it up", but I would prefer to go with more of a re-tool than a full scale blow up, if they fall out of things. |
