It wouldn't surprise me now that he knows hes on the team, his game picks up. Could have been weighing him down, the uncertainty.

I think Stepan is considered one of the better defensive forwards on the team too, he is a great penalty killer and excellent passer, some great wingers on the team even without Ryan.

Yes Derek Stepan is a better player than Kyle Okposo. Hes defintitely the Next John Tavares. Give me a break. Okposo is 2nd in USA born players in points he should be on the team along with Bobby Ryan who can score goals consistently. You need guys who can score to bet teams like Canada and Russia. The team we have is not good enough. Not speaking as an Isles fan but as an American...

He is not the type of player that is only getting his points from JT. There's no point in arguing here, but as of right now, Okposo has been better than Stepan this year and it would be hard to go against that.

He is not the type of player that is only getting his points from JT. There's no point in arguing here, but as of right now, Okposo has been better than Stepan this year and it would be hard to go against that.

Okposo seems to be having a similar year that Brad Boyes had last year, hmmmmm, wonder why
