Exactly now you're getting fos - Yeti1181
You might have competition.
Lefty's been trying to get ahold of COL management for months trying to work out a deal for Edler. |

Bieksa was great at the beginning of the year, but have you seen the GA/60 minutes with him on the ice? It's not good.
A lot likely has to do with recent play, where all the D have been picking up slack for injured players, but still, he's starting to struggle again.
Not advocating trading him, but really, if there's an offer for him that makes sense for the team, and he's willing to waive his NTC, you make the move.
I'd trade any of the D if the price was substantial enough. Wouldn't trade more than one from the roster, though. - Fosco
I cant stand watching the Canucks lately when he's on the ice. He's a trainwreck. You'd think with all the high risk pinches he does every game he'd have more goals than 2 with all the PP time on top of that????? He's a high risk low reward player. Simple as that. Like you are saying, others are stepping up in time of need... and he needs to be the leader Don Cherry thinks he is and not cost this team so much. Hopefully the honeymoon between him and Torts is over. Time for the "buccaneer" to be held a little more accountable. |

Thanks. I thought the entire amount was retained by the team that signed the original agreement. The Roberto Rule so to speak. - bloatedmosquito
Each team is penalized the amount they benefitted (difference between actual salary & cap hit) while the player is with that team. |

I've been one of Bieksa's few apologists over the years & even I'm noticing that his angry/cocky demeanor (that I was a fan of) has more often than not turned into a disinterested/pouty "meh" attitude this season. |

Lets assume these random ass twitter rumours are true. Would you guys meet Winnipeg's apparent asking price of Horvat + Tanev + Hansen for Kane?
How would you have felt if Gillis moved Schneider + Tanev + Hansen for Kane at the draft? - Nucker101
Other than someone's butt, where is this rumour coming from? That trade is a non-starter for a dozen reasons.

Totally agree. KB had a good start, but he's lost his "edge" and also his defensive play has dropped off. Edler's struggled being used as a shutdown d-man. Garrison has been up and down. Hamhuis and Tanev have been studs. |

The Neal - Gologoski deal comes to mind... we need something similar. I want to say where was Gillis when Dallas was interested in defense? And how many other GM's were saying similar when Schneids was traded. funny business. - hillbillydeluxe
