Would the Jets? - Nucker101
Well they are losing a winger not a center so they might. Winters are mighty cold in the peg so that ice should help Hunter out at home. |

Nope. No way Shinkaruk, Tanev and Hansen gets it done. The Jets might consider Burrows instead of Hansen in that deal (although due to the age difference that might be a stretch) but they'd likely just hold out for Horvat. |

As would Vancouver if the jets asked for the package you suggested - Bieksa#3
If and its a big if Burmistrov came to play in Vancouver that deal would be awesome. |

As an out of towner, It would cost me close to $1000 to take my son to a game. And to then watch them blow a 2 goal lead with 1.5 minutes to play is not a good investment. - fiveandagame
Tough for an out of towner for sure. That jacks up the price pretty quickly! |

I meant Shinkaruk, Tanev and a pick. |

Winning plus vets help cure attitude IMO. Noel seems to be the problem there. |

The Kings, Hawks, Blues and Bruins are hardly full of sweethearts, get some talent and a coaching staff that can get them to play. A lot of attitude problems seem to go away fast when you're winning. |

The Canucks' 1st round pick won't be good enough to make it work. The Jets need to start turning things around now. If they trade Kane they need to acquire a player, or players, who can contribute now. |

That's a good place for both the arragant little (frank)s. A few yrs over there might convince Kane that he has things pretty good over here |

Yep, but the guys with attitude problems are usually had for awfully cheap. But that seems to be overlooked by some |

I agree with that. I still maintain Lack would have to be part of the deal. |

Not that I'm totally against acquiring Kane, but at the likely cost, spend less and try to get Wheeler. |

Not when they score 30 goals, are 22 years old, have a really good long-term contract and play a powerforward game. Teams will line up for him. He wouldn't be available if he was a saint and loved Winnipeg, the fact he is actually available is the "discount". It's hard to get a good return for players like that, since the Jets will be relying on "potential" most likely to pan out for them. |

Patty's problems were on the team as well. They were just dumb kid stuff away from the rink |

Yup... I think the hometown/Torts combo is what he needs to get his life/career in order. Could be a massive steal if he's really worn out his welcome as a Jet. |
