All Metro teams are winning tonight - PhillySportsGuy
Yeah.. I should absolutely be rooting for the Leafs, but guess what? I'm not feeling it. Not even a little. |

Leafs are 11-14-5 since the start of November. 6 of those wins have been shootout wins. They've been playing poorly for a while now. |

No touch icing needs to go. These refs in the NHL cant handle it. |

Go ahead. I hope I'm wrong...although having him be a somewhat better, nastier Coburn is actually pretty damned good.
I don;t think there's a future number one guy in the system or among the draftees. But I do feel there's a few NHL caliber guys that can play top 4 for the Flyers in the next few years |

At this point, I'd be glad for that -- I do think you can fake it in the playoffs, make an extremely deep run, with a few 2s, 3s and 4s.
The math isn't quite as kind in winning a Stanley Cup without a true No. 1, but it can be done.

im mostly just messing
but i do see a steady calmness in his game that i think could really be a stabilizing force for an NHL team if he can make the transition. That is not something I would say is a part of Coburn's game, imo.
edit: im talking about his defensive play and even moving the puck when i talk about calmness. I know he has a nasty side |

I like that is the games I've watched he's using a wrist shot from the point to get a shot through.
To go with his better body positioning on defense. |

No, i get you...He's still pretty raw, and I've seen highlights where he looks clueless at times. I know several knowledgeable Habs fans who think pretty highly of him, including Eric Engels. |

Do you think they rushed him into the NHL prematurely? - Doc_Sarcasm
That old adage about taking longer for dmen to find their game is very much true.
It took Hedman (#2 overall in 09) a couple of years to become the stud people had hyped him up to be.
Maybe that's gonna be the case with Adam, let's hope not for the Flyers sake. |

How many days do you suppose it will take before you guys figure out that painting any group...regional, ethnic, national, racial... with a broad and pejorative brush is unacceptable.
