I really hope Canada gets knocked out in the quarterfinals. - Feanor
I hope (unrealistically) they get beat by both Finland and the Norweigans and don't even make it. But man, there's little chance that the Canadians lose more than 1 game in the prelims. But the Czechs and US will have to fight a bit in their brackets. The Swiss and Slovakia can (and may) surprise some people. |

I know he is a hated Ranger but I love Callahan and would take him on the Flyers any day of the week. just my opinion - nastyflyergirl
I'm with you. I'd love to have him, he's a tough customer. |

Would you trade Brayden Schenn for Callahan? - PhillySportsGuy
Visceral reaction?
Yes.
I don't know if that's a smart trade or if it's good, long term, but I like what Callahan brings. |

Cally's already 28......Not sure how much more than a 21 YO center I'd be willing to part with. |

You don't think star players have input into personnel decisions? - twotoekenn
Not at an international level. You're ignorant if you think Giroux was left of the team just cause Crosby and him don't like each other. |

Would you trade Brayden Schenn for Callahan? - PhillySportsGuy
No, Schenn is 7 years younger and has more upside. He's playing pretty well now and hasn't yet reached his peak.
Besides, if I am going to move an asset like Schenn it would be as part of a deal to land an impact dman. |

No, we need to save that 2nd rounder for an upcoming UFA defenseman at the deadline. |

I suggested Toews actually. Should be pretty easy to get him for some picks. |

I think Callahan is the type of player you need to win in the playoffs. If they had him, he'd basically inherit Timonen's "A" after this year. Trading Schenn would be rough, but I'd do it and take the proven commodity. Not saying they should be shopping B. Schenn, but I'd take the risk. |

Would you trade Brayden Schenn for Callahan? - PhillySportsGuy
No. Callahan is six years older and will have likely have a much bigger cap hit than BSchenn next year if Homer is smart and signs him to a bridge deal like Kadri and Stepan got. |

So, the Indians are changing their primary "racist" logo.
I view the term "Yankees" is a derogatory term used by the South during the civil war. Can wel please change the name to the New York Northerners? |

If I'm Colorado, Landeskog is not the piece I'm trading to get a defenseman. |

We call all Americans "Yanks". It's not meant to be offensive, honest.

They should change it to an actual Indian person. |
