Bust?
The Islanders should go hard after Kane If he's really available. He would be good with Tavares. |

I would prefer that as well. Kane would be a great LW for JT for many years... |

Bailey's another good character guy for this team but with the introduction of Nelson and Strome he's now a vet looking for a new role.
de Haan and Nelson both came as Snow's acquired first round picks and are making him look like a top GM since they've helped accelerate the surge and excitement around the team. Gotta keep playing Poulin since the whole team is playing with confidence. |

Kane's point totals and whining don't make him an attractive player IMO. He'd also cost too much in a trade for what we'd get back. Not interested, I don't like his attitude.

whoa dude. Top GM? No sir. We are seeing some good play from some of our draft picks, but he's done absolutely nothing to fix our defense this year. Vanek was a big move, but if this team was going to compete for a playoff spot that needed to be followed up with a move for a defenseman and Crapuano should have been fired a long time ago.

But the truth is, he does have the ability to be a productive player for this team. - Dee Karl
Im starting to lose faith that this is the case.

Wouldn't be surprised if they gave it a try. |

Well I said "look like a top GM" because the trade up for the two first round picks panned out. Yes we are a small market team with the owner and GM taking the small market moves but hopefully these young players and the team will move up into the large market with the move to Brooklyn. Yes the defense and goal is still getting there but hopefully the draft picks will move up. |
