Holmgren was really trying for Franson.

Personally I think odds are you see the kid next season.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit, and they seemed to have a bit of a hard time sending him down this year. With the lack of quality D out there, and Guss not really taking the next step Morin may be up with the big club sooner than most think.

They have defenseman in the system that will be more NHL ready than Morin. Bringing him up next year would definitely stunt his growth big time. He'll be nowhere near ready next season. They didn't have a hard time cutting him in training camp either. He was one of the first cuts. We won't see Morin for a couple years.

Daigle shattered Mario Lemieux's records in the QMJHL. It's hard drafting 18 year old kids. too.
