And if someone gets stupid and does give you a hard time at the game, just remind them that you hate the Rangers and Penguins as much as they do. Common ground is a good thing. - johndewar
Thanks for the advice. I'll mention the pens first. If I shut my mouth and just watch the game, I can't see much of a problem. |

Happy flyer fans means guaranteed verbal abuse
In all seriousness, not trolling, how has streit been? - NYI44
Streit struggled a lot early on, I expected him to suck defensively, but he wasn't really adding anything offensively either. Over the last month or so, his offensive game has picked up a lot. He still sucks in his own zone, but if they were deeper on D and could restrict him to 3rd pair minutes at even strength, he would be fine.

Philly fans have a bad rep, but its not justified. We just get media coverage when things do happen, because we are the villian city. |

Plus most Flyers fans don't hate the Isles nearly as much as the Rangers, Pens or Devils.

Thats actually a good idea... anyone give you poop, just say Crosby Sucks! - youarewrong
I've been to a ton of Flyers - Isles games over the years and it's never an Isles fan that is a problem.
It's typically a Ranger fan or a Penguin fan that acts up and puffs out their chest too much. Isles and even Devils fans kinda keep to themselves and I've found they are generally OK. |

That is literally the exact same thing all islander fans were saying last year. |

The worst I ran into was Habs fans. Completely disrespectful during the Anthem, and obnoxious all through the game. |

You'll be fine.
If you imbibe, the Bud Light atrium is behind Section 116 and there are some good food choices there (and possibly a band before the game and between periods) and there is always PJ's behind section 106. |

I've actually had good experiences with Hab fans (and fans from Canada, in general).

If you imbibe, do some shots before the game, and just use an ocasional beer to maintain. Beer is too expensive there. |

Hey guys. I know I've been in here a couple times asking you guys questions about tomorrow night's game. It's finally here and just one more question. Am I going to get killed if I wear my isles jersey? Even if I'm not loud or obnoxious. Thanks a lot! - NYI44
Death is unlikely, but prepare for poop talking. |

There were 4 of them. 2 to my left that stayed seated through the American Anthem and were joking and stuff, and ones right in front of me that were waiving a Canadian Flag all-game long and obstructing view. When I asked him to keep it to a minimum he said "no English, Free Country" Which of course was BS. |

Wow, that does suck.
Most Hab fans that I've interacted with at Flyers have been pretty well behaved.
And the female Hab fans have been generally attractive.... |

devils fans at the rock (and when they were in e. rutherford) are the worst. there aren't enough words to explain how much i loathe them. |
