How many of those were handed out for free?

It's nice to have 30000 people, but if they pay 5$ each, you can't have a 70M pay roll and pay an NHL team expenses.

Like the Sens? Anyways I'm done with this.

You're done with this after an hour or two, but beat the living (frank) out of that joyous and uberCanadian moment when that racer valiantly handed over his spot?

Add some years and deduct some IQ and he's a shoe in.

The guy got a bronze today. I hope they make a story on how he qualified this time. Ron Maclean can make one of his quirky tales out of this. And that's what the Olympics are about. Not winning, but the heart warming stories.

It wasn't that different was it? It was point and click. The first Baldur's Gate I played was on the Xbox so that was a hack and slash type. Still fun. But it was different than the PC version.
- weirdoh

I believe it was. The ways of selecting an action / spell were different. It wasn't just selecting it the with left mouse button and then click on the target. When you clicked on a target, you had a circle that was appearing to give you the choices of actions.

Also, you didn't get to have 6 characters like in Baldur's/Ice Windale. You had only 4, so you had less versatility. Once you reached Neverwinter though, you could switch characters at the brothel to fit the needs you had. It sucked in a way because you had to keep everyone up par in terms of XP/level to make sure they were still useful when you needed them.

It just was too different to our liking. Baldur's and Ice Windale were very similar, besides the story.

Maybe I should fire up Baldur's gate. I've got those in my account on gog. I can redownload them right?

I had trouble with Temple of Elementel Evil. That was a hard game. I got brave and went forward before I was leveled up and kept getting slaughtered.

Believe it or not, there's been a couple times when he's made sense. But in the grand scheme of things those 3 or 4 times vs the 1000's of others doesn't pan out.

They made a good point about this on C'est juste de la TV.

Broadcasters know that men will watch the olympics, they put emphasis on those stories so the women will watch it too.

It's a bit like the half time show at the Superbowl. At first it was just a fanfare show for the people live at the stadium, but after a few years of losing viewers at the half-time on TV, the organizers created a huge event at the half-time to keep everyone around, and also to bring in other viewers, like women.

They usually select artists that are liked by women to perform at the half time too.

I like when he rips the positioning of Vezina winning goalies.
